CBT for Anger Management
For most people, chronic anger covers incredible pain. And while anger often feels like a relese at the moment, it inevitably makes the underlying pain worse. Anger is said to be the most talked about but the least studied emotion. Anger affects the vast majority of people at times. It is just one of a cocktail of normal emotions that we are wired up to experience. At best it can energise us and give a clear message that something is not right. This prompts us to communicate and /or problem solve; which can then give a sense of control or resolve. However, at worst it can be destructive and lead to an array of distressing consequences. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy techniques offers the skills and techniques to understand and manage anger in a way that is both adaptive and helpful for you.
